Anti Aging Fears: Is Going Under The Knife To Look Younger, Worth Risking Your Life?
Society has told us in many different ways over the years that aging is something bad, to the point where we should be ashamed it is happening to us.
- If this is not the case, then why has plastic surgery become a multi-billion dollar industry?
- Why do men leave their wives for younger women more frequently than twenty years ago?
- Why are women becoming more insecure and working out at the gym when they should be enjoying their free time after work?
As plastic surgery increases, so do the very unfortunate deaths that go along with these risks. We have all seen the television shows entitled, ‘Plastic Surgery Gone Wrong‘.
Do we feel sorry for these people who chose this route to attain the fountain of youth? Or do we envy their bravery for at least trying?
How about the debt incurred taking out loans, cashing in their 401k, or using their pension and savings account just to strip their face of 10 years worth of aging and wrinkles?
- Will it work?
- Is it worth it?
Regardless, society as a whole does not view aging as a grateful gift of gratitude for our years of hard work and relaxation by earning our valued retirement. […]
